When I saw THE COVE, (http://www.thecovemovie.com/), a lot of questions came to my mind.
The filmaker says around 23,000 dolphins are killed from September through March every year. It's pretty sad, no doubt about it. But then I thought...how many cow are killed to provide us meat, or poultry or pigs or goats? Thousands!
The most devastating number was when I read in wikipedia that more than 90 million FEMALE human beings are "missing" only in 2005, and it is called "Sex-Selective Abortion" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex-selective_abortion.
I wonder if there will be a filmaker making a documentary about it.
What is more important human beings or dolphins or animals, or are we, mammals, important to somebody?
